On January 27, 2021 glifaa proudly welcomed Secretary of State Antony Blinken into office. We are delighted glifaa president Jeff Anderson was invited to welcome Secretary Blinken and hope this is a testament to the Department’s commitment to protection of LGBTQIA+ people in the United States and all over the world.

In early 2021, glifaa took the opportunity to reflect on the needs of LGBT+ employees and family members in the Foreign Affairs Agencies, and around the world. Therefore, glifaa put together our top priorities for the new administration that will help protect our members and advance the needs of our community in the United States and beyond.
